Giants vs. White Sox Game 3

Here is a slide show from our game against the White Sox. Eric and I have missed a couple of games, but it seems like we have played the White Sox every week.
I chose some swing music this time. It's "The Boogie Bumper" by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. For those of you old enough to remember, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was the band from the movie "Swingers."
The trumpet player in the band is Hart High grad Glenn Marhevka, one of my old classmates. He actually graduated a couple years after I did, but still a cool Santa Clarita connection.

We had a great game against the White Sox on Saturday. It was our second game with them.
The music with this slideshow is from the opera Nabucco, about how the Jews were exiled from Babylonia by Nebuchadnezzar. I love Biblical names. The music was composed by Giuseppe Verdi and the opera was first performed in 1842 in Milan, Italy.
The song is titled "The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves," perhaps a little dramatic, but fitting for our little game against the White Sox.
Some important dates are coming up. We are on spring break and have no practice on Thursday.
Our next game is Tuesday, April 10. There are no games on Saturday.
The league's picture day and fund-raiser is April 14.
Have a great spring break everyone.
